Steering Committee

From NANOG

The NANOG community elected its first NANOG Steering Committee in summer 2005. As noted in the NANOG charter, the Steering Committee selects the Program Committee and Mailing List Committee, advises Merit on the NANOG budget, and does liason work with other organizations. The group is comprised of nine members: six are elected by the NANOG attendees, one is appointed by Merit, and both the Mailing List Committee and Program Committee Chairs participate in an advisory capacity.
