Where, When

Note that the start time has changed to 6pm, due to the large number of people who want to take a tour

Tuesday 6 February, meeting in the hotel lobby at 6:00pm. The TorIX lives at 151 Front Street West, which is a short walk from the hotel (about 1km).

Since it is apallingly cold, we'll be walking down mainly underground through the PATH. There will be friendly locals available to help you deal with the confusing undergroundedness of it all.

Matthew Potvin from Standard Connections will be available to provide tours of his suite, which houses one of the TorIX switches.

We have also had confirmation from Switch and Data that they will be available to show people through their suite, where one of the other TorIX switches lives.

Because you don't see enough generic datacentre space at home. Also because no trip to Toronto is complete without a reason to visit 151 Front.
